Julia Nilus Williams www. julianiluswilliams.squarespace.com Nilus is an illustrator and children's book artist currently located in Port Jervis, NY. She grew up in Millburn, NJ and graduated from Montclair State University in May 2018. Additionally, she is a published author and illustrator of her bilingual children's book "Aya and Kimiko Have a Sleepover".
She frequents artist alleys at conventions and currently has works in the Upfront Gallery's June-July Summer Show. Her work is playful, vivid, and at times mystical whether she is working with inks, watercolors, multimedia, or digitally. She focuses on topics such as diversity, mood, and the importance of world travel. When not working on major assignments she takes energetic walks to help inspire her creative flow. Nilus' favorite things are dancing, linguistics, cats, dragonfruit, swimming, and tea and variations of the colors blue and purple.
