Jennifer says of her work: “My art enables me to express myself while continuing to discover who I am.”
Her journey has led her to explore Art, homeopathy, aromatherapy, herbal therapy, Reiki, Yoga and Energy Healing. Why? Because she knew there was more to life than what she was experiencing and a deep part of her was in search of the truth.
Jennifer is inspired by capturing her subject's "soul" in the expression of their face and body language especially the eyes. Her work is part of her journey and is an expression of what she is feeling or experiencing, as well as an intuitive interpretation of the world around her. As an adult she became drawn to spiritual and holistic practices such as energy medicine, yoga, aromatherapy and homeopathy. Her paintings have become a "tool" in my work as a healer as she uses imagery, symbols, color, energy and intention to invoke healing and transformation in the viewer. Her paintings have become infused with intention and energy in the way she layers symbols, images, colors, shapes, etc. She loves color and loves being bold and dramatic in her painting and technique.
