Elva Zingaro is a retired teacher turned full time artist. When asked why she paints Elva says “Because I must! Art brings joy to my life and fills my heart and soul with peace”. Elva looks at a scene and tries to capture the beauty of realism together with the pure emotion of nature’s handiwork. Her thickly painted, impressionistic seascapes and landscapes express the power of nature awakened within us.
