CATHERINE DEMAIO’S collages and hook rugs. Catherine is an artist/teacher with an M.S. in Art Education. She has taught at SUNY Orange and currently teaches at Wallkill River School. She is a member and co-chair of the Middletown Art Group, as well as a member of the River Valley Artists Guild. Her floral and still life collages and hook rugs reflect the beauty of nature as well as the artful materials they are made from. “Creativity is the essence of my life.”
