Artist Application

Historic Orange Square, Veterans Memorial Park, 35 S. Broome St., Port Jervis, NY
Port Jervis Tourism Board, in conjunction with the River Valley Artists Guild seeks artists to participate in Art in the Park 2019, a day of fine art in Port Jervis' historic downtown Orange Square. The exhibition features artists displaying and selling their original two- and three-dimensional creations and personally-designed and crafted functional fine art in a beautiful park setting.
Art in the Park Guidelines:
1. Artists using the mediums of drawing, painting, ceramics, fine handcrafted jewelry, mixed media, sculpture, weaving, photography, and printmaking are encouraged to register. Any prints should be in signed limited editions of 25 or less.
2. Artist vendors are required to provide their own display material and tables to occupy a 10x10 foot space and encouraged to use tents with sides to protect from the sun, wind and/or rain. River Valley Artists Guild and the Port Jervis Tourism Board assumes no responsibility for theft or damage of artwork.
3. Artists must arrive by 9AM to set up.
4. You may not take down your exhibit before the closing time. Early artwork removal is permitted only at the prior discretion of the Exhibitions Coordinator and is case-dependent.
5. In accordance with the City of Port Jervis, vendors are not permitted to bring pets.
